markv There is a way to control these without internet on your WiFi. If you want to pursue this, look at videos on setting up "Local Tuya" on Home Assistant.

Q: Is gigabit ethernet connected to usb 3.0? I have similar product and it has gigabit ethernet connected to usb 2.0 which limits network connection to 350Mbps (total sum of upload and download).

markv According to device manager the "Realtek USB GbE Family Controller" is connected to a "Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub" (which would be USB 3.0), which is in turn connected to a "USB Root Hub (USB3.0)". So from that I take it to be connected to USB 3.0. Of course there could be other bottlenecks in the device though.
