markv According to device manager the "Realtek USB GbE Family Controller" is connected to a "Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub" (which would be USB 3.0), which is in turn connected to a "USB Root Hub (USB3.0)". So from that I take it to be connected to USB 3.0. Of course there could be other bottlenecks in the device though.
