Astrobuf no. this is a signal generator. it produces an ac signal of varying amplitude and frequency.

Astrobuf yes. uou will need solder and a soldering iron. I find it helpful at times to have some liquid flux (needle tip dispenser type) to complete these type of kits.

Astrobuf you have to provide your own power source. I have used old laptop power supplies. if you use a 24volt laptop supply you should add a small fan to cool the FET's

Astrobuf I do not believe a specifi box is available, but I think you could first any properly sized box around it. My only cautions are that the FET's get hot. In fact, they recommend you use a cooling fan if you will run at 24 volts, so if you box it, a cooling fan would be a must. you would want to leave the hv coil outside of the box.
