pa5ta It's most likely the controller that can't "speak" SAS. I experienced the same with a consumer-grade SATA-to-USB converter. Using HP's P440 controller, it worked fine (but it was useless, as the connector already fits SATA and SAS).
Q: Can this radio be programed to work in the 173 mhz freq range?
