anycolourfloyd i have this same problem. looking on budgetlightforums, this issue is known. the light has a hardware issue.what is meant to be 10 seconds is actually somewhere between 2-3 hours. apart from that it's a great little torch, but it's a major flaw.

The operating instructions state that if the light is turn off more than 10 seconds it will be in default firefly mode. But this doesn't happen. It keeps going in firefly- med - high -firefly - med - high - strobe . . . .
