smbunn Mybutane plastic bottle also fell apart. Wonder if they have spares?

The unit ran for a few minutes, then seized up. It appears one of the pistons seized up. In addition, a guide bar fell off, and the butane plastic bottle valve is coming apart. I sent an email to bangood via their portal and got no response.

Seems very well made and well packed. Upgrade process best done after viewing the You Tube videos as this is a three step process. Connection to mobile phone took a few tries before success but now connects every time. The GPS check took about 5 goes before it agreed both my phone and the drone were in the same location. Manual is very brief and full of errors, not much use. The remote control is all white, even the buttons are white on white, unreadable in all but the brightest conditions so best to learn the buttons before you do your first flying. Too windy too fly yet, will do so this weekend but unit seems stable and quiet.

Q: is it refillable of helium or hydrogen?

smbunn It uses butane, standard lighter fluid. You can buy a canister of this from most camping suppliers or a shop that sells cigarettes and lighters

Worked as specified and seems to do a very good job. The mobile Phone app is handy as I cannot always place the device somewhere easy to read.

received this two days ago and was impressed with the workmanship. It is a real conversation piece. First thing I noticed was it was shipped with butane in the tank, about 50% full. Dangerous for a shipped parcel. Next I found that the refill valve does not work on mine. I ended up having to take the hose out and hold the trigger valve open while refilling. This loosened the hose causing some problems. It ran first time but needed the burners set a little closer to the end s of the cylinders, Allen keys provided make this easy. Then on the third run there was a bit of a bang and the fuel tank flew across the room. The needle valve (the faulty one that prevented refill) had popped completely out of the end of the tank releasing all of the gas...dangerous! I need to find a replacement tank that is more reliable, it is quite tricky to start the engine. So looks good, quality let down by the faulty gas tank which is one they obviously buy an fit.
