24brainiac Between laser end and end of legs is around 6-7 cm, so if you want to engrave higher object you must elevate engraver somehow (for example with 'stilts'). Engraved surface and leg ends have to be parallel to keep quality. If you want to engrave something thicker(engraved surface is closer to laser(or further)) you should adjust focus length of laser (by rotating ring on laser end). You can do anything, just keep focus point on surface.
