whizzo I have loaded Wildcat - how can I confirm that it is active?

Very nice oscilloscope, nice quality. Original firmware is not well programmed. Upload wildcat 6.5 firmware to unfold the full functionallity and usability

Today not everyone has to use scope in everyday work. But for me it's like a "MUST HAVE". I have a big old 2 Beam oscilloscope from 90-s, and though it's still working I bought this one as well and think it's excellent tool for the price advertised. Very nice build and quite attractive design. Not sure it's as precise as stationary one (which is almost 10 kg), but I will try to do firmware upgrade - this is another good feature... Cons: didn't find any "cover bag", as advertised in description, only packing envelope... but for the price who cares..

whizzo Have you tried going into "firmware mode" before connecting the USB cable? I got an error message if I connected the USB before going into firmware mode.Do you have a URL for the latest firmware? I can't read chinese do the website doesn't help.Do you have a URL for the current manual?

When starting up it has 3 behaviours: It displays the FPGA message, then starts permanently beeping and the screen seems to be being used as memory for something other than video: 2. Is similar, it progresses to the full status screen, then starts beeping permanently. From this screen I see it is Serial No 932AA27E License 79208B11, Hardware Version 2.82, DSO Sys 1.64, Application Version 1.13. 3. On the 1 or 2 occasions where it got to the scope screen, any attempt to use any of the controls just yields a long slow beeping sound. I thought it might be a firmware problem, so looked on the http://minidso.com forum, and tried to follow the firmware upgrade instructions. The Firmware upgrade screen starts up fine, but neither my Mac, Windows 7 PC nor Windows XP computers can see the USB drive. I am guessing a hardware issue? What is worse is that emails to cservice@banggood.com are being rejected with: : host mxbiz.vip.qq.com[184.105.206.88] said: 550 Mail content denied. Looking forward to your email.
