Q: If it is sensorless, what are the thin wires for?

anubhav.m They are hall sensors for rotor position encoding. R - VCC Blk - GND Other three are HA HB HC concurrent to the phases A B C. It's a sensored bldc motor.

anubhav.m The motor is a sensored brushless motor designed for burst powers. I doubt it is designed for 2500W continuous power. Since, there are no countermeasures for heat, and no fans either. I work on BLDC motors, the generic ones used in smaller bikes and cars. Trust me, minutes of running gets them hot. As for the wires, same as the point I was trying to make earlier, I don't think it's designed to be used continuously, but for smaller time of burst power it'll work just fine! But if you run it non stop for more than a few minutes, it'll melt alright.
