I purchased the ZTE ZXD3000 power supply for a ZVS induction heater that I’m building. I purchased the driver board separately from another vendor-site in an attempt to source the least expensive parts for my build. For the power, this was the cheapest rectifier I’ve found (even from sites like eBay and Amazon), and although I had ordered the others parts from AliExpress weeks before buying this unit on BangGood, it arrived and I’m still waiting for delivery of my other items from Ali. I’ve hooked up the rectifier to a 110/120-volt power source and to a 220/245-volt power source (through a step up/down transformer) and reading on my multimeter indicated exactly 48-volts DC output no matter which way it was powered. The only difference was that the internal cooling fan of the rectifier spun at least twice as fast when powered from the 220/240-volt transformer. Kinda weird, since I would’ve expected it to be the opposite way, but whatever... Since I haven’t received my ZVS aboard yet, I cannot review the actual performance of the rectifier in operation, but I don’t anticipate any issues. Also, when I received it, I opened the case to take a look at it’s guts and was pleasantly surprised to see that the internals were completely clean and in good order. By the scuffs on the case, the unit was obviously used before, but it was just as obvious that much care was taken in rebuilding it for continued service. As I am a big proponent of the “reduce, reuse, recycle” mantra, this was not an issue for me in the least, and explained how the unit was so inexpensive compared to the nearly $2000 retail price of it when it’s new. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase and it was made all the better by the fact that it was my very first time ordering anything through Banggood. Combined with the extraordinary speed of the overseas shipping (from China-to-America, during the 2020 holiday season, in the midst of a global pandemic), I couldn’t be happier.
