DustinFrom702 tighten the collar with a hex wrench
DustinFrom702 then just tighten the screw on the collar just under the one that you twist to tighten. that collar can be moved as well if it's loosened, and if it's not tight enough, the twisting collar above it will do like nothing to prevent the pins moving. tighten that screw too much, & the pins will be totally locked in place.
DustinFrom702 it says it's plug & play, no drivers needed.. whatever that means. Does this work with Windows 10?

Mirthful I think it should be the 6 disc-detainer type lock lock you mentioned, because it is very convenient to use

DustinFrom702 thanks for the review. also learning this the hard way. but the Shell I got ripped off on has spaces for about 8 li-ion batteries ,, & I'd assume the best ones you're finding that fit are 2-4000 per battery? either way way too much use for that bs
