Quality is good. Edges are smooth. I bought this to use in the margaritas I drink at my favorite Mexican restaurant. However the straw is too long for that. So I have to find a way to cut it down to size and polish for smoothness. It's my own fault as I was aware of the length. More suitable for tall drinks. Maybe nice if they came out with a shorter version.

Q: how many of you guys read the items list of the original....it stated kit or kit plus motor. That was it with no other electronics included. Please don't be a bad shopper and try to give Banggood a bad name. Grow up please and try to be ADULTS. Banggood, maybe this should only be for ADULTS and leave the little beggars out of it. I have been more than pleased with Banggood products and their business as presented.

paypalsg5110 They should not use pictures that show more than is provided or at least they should put a disclaimer in red letters in the picture. They should at least have one picture that shows what you actually get.

Q: I (stupidly) plugged this into 220V with the switch still set to 110V. it worked for a minute but then a big cloud of smoke came out. There are droplets of an oily liquid too. Was this some protective component that burned out? Unfortunately, the fuse built into the power socket did not blow. I can't see any component that is obviously burned. Can this power supply be repaired? Could the Banggood customer service check with the manufacturer please?

They put out a voltage higher than 12V. more like 13 to 14V unloaded. that's probably good for me because they are supplying power to camera scatter throughout my house. I hope they last longer than the ones my CCTV provider provided.

BG411216613 I powered it up and checked the voltage with my meter. It was perfectly calibrated.

Needed some adjustment for the cover to fit properly. I don't think it was a shipping issue because it was well packed and protected. I just needed to loosen some screws, adjust and tighten again.

I got this as a free gift with another purchase. I had no expectations. It works fine. Not sure I found a favorite melody yet. I may use this in my house because I can't hear the doorbell when i'm in my office so I can add a second doorbell for there.

I've already made several designs. Fun after getting tired of the sets with just balls. There are 36 bars and 27 balls. I always have leftover balls. Maybe there should more bars and fewer balls. Or maybe they give extra since the balls can roll away more easily than the bars??? The balls are not magnetic.

BG411216613 Did you get the resistors in the right locations? I could imagine if a 10K got mixed with a 1K the current would be lower and the LEDs dimmer.

I made this kit in an hour or so taking my time following the instructions linked in the item page. The bottom plate didn't seem to transmit power to the "B" board of the tree. So I linked the power source from the "A" board and it works. The green LEDs on the "B" board seem dimmer than the rest, maybe I messed up a connection or resistor? Fun kit, all parts were there and working. The instructions were good enough. Perhaps I'll link my timelapse video of building it soon.

The kit arrived neatly packed and complete but without any instructions; these were on the website. Still not good if you want to give this as a present to a beginner... The instructions do not indicate how to determine resistor values, or which value goes where; there is no schematic and the PCBs only indicate where the 10k resistors go: a novice can not build this succesfully. As a qualified and well-trained electronics engineer it was easy for me to reverse-engineer the schematic from the PCBs and thus find out what goes where, but I fear that many beginners will have no luck in getting it to work as intended the first time and need serious help; all due to the abominally bad "instructions".
