Just received the camera today, and got it set up and working (I had already ordered and received batteries separately). The instructions are not the greatest, but good enough. The camera as delivered is limited to use with a phone app; it *should* be possible to view it in a web browser but so far I have had no luck with this - I did not deduct points for this as it was not an advertised feature (still disappointing though). However, with the phone app I get nice clear images, and the night time sensitivity is impressive. The android app is a bit clunky (but workable)l. I'll wait a bit to see how this one works out, but if it continues working as well as it does now, I'll seriously consider buying another one. About the batteries: Yes - you have to have the batteries. The solar panel charges the batteries, which power the camera. Make sure you order batteries with the right kind of + pole (read the product description carefully); you have to have a battery with a protruding + pole (not flat). Batteries should be provided with the camera - I deducted 1 star for "batteries not included." I'm guessing batteries are left out so a lower price can be advertised.

velcro suggestion,,if your computer use windows,you can download an Android emulator like BlueStacks,then from googleplay download the apps(same as you cell,and then you can see everything from your computer..A emulator for windows is very useful for people who wants to use android software on windows
