I'll start by saying I am a fan of Matek products, I have 2 of their flight controllers on quads and they are great, never giving me issues. This was installed on the Eachine trashcan due to a fried 5v regulator (a common issue when switching to xt30 plugs). Its a little bit bigger than an average thumb nail, so it makes it easy to place, not that there is lots of available space on the trashcan anyways. The good news, this regulator does the job fairly well. The bad news, because of the input voltage on the regulator being minimum 6v, if your 2s batteries sag below 6v during later portions of your flight it will cause the flight controller to brownout and reboot mid flight, ending with a crash. these are good regulators otherwise, just be mindful of this fact if you plan on installing it on a 2s whoop.

As with the other GT 239 frame, this one is also pretty indestructible. I definitely recommend this for a beginner to fly due to its forgiveness. HOWEVER, the stock PID settings need to be tuned better (turn down D gain a couple points). I already smoked a motor and the others were too hot to touch. I was under the impression it was ready to go. Barring this set back, it’s a good little learning machine

trailmedic after a year of testing I am retracting my good review. after burning out motors, hours of tuning, I cannot get this thing to fly longer than 20 seconds before the motors are burning hot to touch. it appears the super flexible frame is the culprit, as the electronics package has a good track record. I have since purchased another frame and will be moving the electronics over. sad to say but literally the only positive attribute of this frame is its remarkable durability.

This frame is a beast. purchased for line of sight training (no camera). combined with a Bee core f3 board, racerstar 6x15 purple motors, and 200mah batts. this thing so far is indestructible. it's been dropped, bounced, crashed, walloped, whatever you wanna call it. other than the motor arms developing a permanent inwards deflection (which does not affect flight performance), it's my go to for back yard rips and boredom eraser. I'd be hesitant adding a camera due to the extra weight. yes I know it's designed for one but the performance I'm getting without one is quite enjoyable.

super easy to install in a king Kong 65mm frame. firmware is very easy to set up. the battery lead solder pads are surprisingly decent size considering how small the board is. still not a beginner's job. my only gripe is that the horizon drifts after hard impacts, however this is had been easily remedied by disarming and rearming the motors. second nature now. great board

put this on a king Kong 65mm frame (no camera), flying line of sight the speed and power is awesome. surprisingly good power for the size despite being brushed motors. definitely but again. also, the plugs are compatible with the beecore f3 board (that's what I have)

smaller than it looks in pics. i can fit 8 3s 1500 batteries. don’t have 4s to check. the dividers are removable and somewhat annoying to get to stick in one place since the Velcro wraps around the edge of the divider and doesn’t actually sit firmly to the sides. other than that, it’s super handy and works well for me

nice looking and feeling controller, plug and play with original Wii. my only gripe - the receiver does not sync to individual controllers. every time you turn on the controller it’s a gamble to see which receiver slot it picks up. that being said, once it’s locked on signal is strong and latency is low. I got 2, I’ll be getting more

good blades, these are 2019, (2 inch diameter, 1.9 pitch), not as grippy as I want for my heavier 2s build, but that’s just me. I’m sure lighter build with 3s would benefit these props well. still not disappointed with them

nice and tiny, stock image settings (plug and play) are a little drab colour wise but I quickly got over it and flew many packs without fiddling with it. the osd voltage even matches the voltage sensor so I’d say it works well too (in case you don’t have beta flight osd)

Great board, easy set up, Matek website has tons of helpful information on setting up the board including pin remapping, telemetry set up, and frsky setup.
