chilledoutuk itsnext to a vtx antenna how long does it take to get a lock with clear sky and more than 10cm from an high output antenna?

I bought both the BN-220 and this one to compare. I love the small size of this one. It is great. However compared to the BN-220 it takes about 4-5 minutes longer to cold start. Once it does get a lock its great. But just be aware of how long it takes to begin.

chilledoutuk Notsure what you mean but if you had a clue you might know this frame was designed for full size 1177 style cameras.

I've had it with this board. Yesterday my drone cut out when I was turning it. Then I found out that whenever the drone flips quickly the whole drone gets turned off. So if I was to spin the drone with my hand fast it would disarm/turn off. I thought it was the motors and the ESCs. I've spent a whole day de-soldering and soldering motors etc. No luck. Eventually I started looking at the gyro. The ribbon is very fragile. I heated it up a bit with a soldering iron to see if there was something broken there and the gyro stopped responding entirely. You get a spare ribbon cable in the box, so I tried to replace it. The paths that you solder the ribbon to are so insanely fragile that 2 came off just after I added a tiny bit of solder. I've done these ribbons on mobile phones a 100 times and these just fell apart. On top of that, I've been trying to get some support from Holybro in the past in regards to RSSI and current sensing, as Current sensing isn't even mentioned in the manual or the schematics of the board. The support always just replies with 1 sentence, no kindness, no professional help. It's as if the support was just covered by a grumpy man that does not care. Now my board is useless because of that gyro.

chilledoutuk thiscan be used for more than just a racing drone in fact it will work great on any drone so a barometer is not useless. I wish people would stop complaining about things having stuff they dont need why does it even matter.

Actually running ArduCopter on it. 3.7-dev edition, to benefit from internal serial inversion to pass FrSky telemetry over a simple wire to the XSR receiver. In the 8-pin connector, there's the undocumented 5th pin (marked I) which is for current sense. I'm using a Mauch PL-100 atm, and it's almost as big as the FC itself so I'm not happy, but it's accurate down to 10 mAh. Less then stellar is the barometer, which for most is a useless contraption, given it's a racing FC. Not bad, as I've seen and experienced worst, but far from the MS5611 which is holy writ in the autonomous world.
