Works flawless. Recceiver sensitivity seems good, could operate it two floors under the router (in a concrete building). Mechanical Quality looks ok. So I am happy with this buy. My only concern is what happens if they shut down the server one day...

misterfixit1952 "All our smart home products use Amazon AWS Global Server". I doubt very much that Amazon servers will become unavailable.short of a nuclear EMP strike, in which case you will probably not care if they work or not.

strange enough, but it actually works! as i understand, it requires an internet connection to connect to their online servers to receive commands. after that you can control it from anywhere. also you can set up a schedule. price is amazing, and only drawback i can imagine off - will it work, if their servers become unavailable? great value though.
