Q: How to adjust the voltage output ?

Schminken its a DC rectifier for telecom operations........... its designed to give 48 V DC, i guess you could use it to charge 4x 12V car batteries if you hooked them up in series, make sure they are all about the same discharge/charge level. but i would research that as im not an electrical engineer.
