Q: I know there have been many questions regarding the 5G model. And I know the difference between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi. I read however that the drone uses the 5.8 GHz band. This band is not available in Germany. Hence I fear that my Samsung S20+ does not support the 5G capabilities of the drone. Is that true? Or does the drone only use the allowed outdoor channels between 5.470–5.725 GHz as mentioned

Robin48gx Mine worked with a XAOMI phone. The trick is to get the phone connecting to the drone which acts as a wifi server. I guess your phone will probably have 5 GHz even if you home Wifi does not. I am in the UK and so (for the time being) the EU rules for frequencies apply. So I would guess this will work for you.
