Q: Is the battery 48v? I was reading and a buyer says it's 20v

zapperjohn 20.5 volts fully charged.Other commenters are right; look at the size of the battery pack. NO way 48 volts with any capacity to run the drill for seconds. I measured the packs and the charger. It's a 20 volt drill. t works well for a 20 volt unit. Price may be just OK considering there are 2 battery packs.
