BG221565049 I agree. For the price you are bettet off getting Traxxas TRX4. Better customer support amd parts availability. I looked at this truck and bought a TRX4 defender instead.

BG221565049 i mounted mine using 3M automotive tape. its been three months and it has not moved. mounted in Traxxas Stampede

Q: wil this work in a stock Texas stampede 2wd xl5. can I just use the old esc from it it is a try as xl5 esc. ???

BG221565049 you will need to replace ESC for 3s lipo.
