Q: How can I get the radio complete and ready to go. some of your wording is not to clear. I would like to get one for a handicapped as a gift.

BG814401296 Itcomes without any manual. The radio requires use of hands to tune to some frequencies, and needs eyes to see the tuned frequency display. I sometimes use it in total darkness while going to sleep, without caring about frequencies, I just use the auto tune functionality to search for random stations (but auto tune functionality doesn't comes out of the box, I have to update it to the latest software version to make it work).

Q: what does the advert mean by host. what is supplied if you choose the host option.

BG814401296 hostmeans the outer casing. If you choose the host option, then all the parts like PCB, speaker, battery will all come fitted within the case
