Adi ED3 model is brush motor - there are sparks in the rear part produced by the motor collector.

Adi I verified (for Mensala 2200W) the input voltage up to 31 V and the over-voltage protection does not trigger; in an user manual (that comes with the inverter, for other inverter type anyway...) it is written 20 - 30 V battery voltage as limits of one class of inverters (I assume 24 V type; 10.5 - 15 V, I assume for 12 V type and 40 - 60 V, I assume for 48 V type).

Adi Yes they do work together but with a lower power. In my tests I get in direct evening sun (today, 19:00, a bit foggy) about 5 W maximum power at DC output (without USB, 16.3V x 0.3A). With both USB and DC connected I get: 0.2A x 4.2V = 0.85W at DC output plus 4.7V x 0.13A = 0.6W, total about 1.5W. With USB only I get 4.2V x 0.28A = 1.2W. With full sun I expect more power, I will add a review after the test.

Adi I measured the solar panel with a constant current load with full sun on June 27, 14:00 and I get a maximum power of 6.5 W (13V x 0.52A = 6.5W). Charging the lead-acid battery I get a maximum of 7.3 W (0.52A x 14V = 7.3W). I expected a power less than 20 W anyway (0.1 sqm x 1000 W x 20% = 20 W).
