Very happy with this addapter. Easy installation for windows 8.1: after few minutes search I downloaded the corresponding driver.

Bought this to use on an Intel NUC (no ethernet). Plugged in and the system detected it straight away - no driver needed. Been using it now for about 3 weeks without issue
