very nice unit, I have got the 220v unit as I am in the UK, super fast shipping, arrived in 8days of the order, it is very well packed in the original box, that is good because it only had a plastic shipping bag, the touch screen is nice, and you can set the temp when in the stand, the unit cools down fast and goes to sleep once in the stand it also reads in Deg F,but you have to set it up in Deg c, then switch to f for the reading to change it will go up to 550c, and it will reach that temperature very fast I have only measured 1182w with the fan on max, but I am on 240v, so all good, the fan takes 10w on max speed, the unit takes 5w on standby, and the front mains switch does switch the mains power off, the 3 presets are very nice to have, it also comes with a replacement reed switch for the handle if you ever need it, it is also great as I paid £128 for the unit, they have just gone up to £194, it is still worth that price, I have also ordered some new nozzles for the quick station as they will fit this unit, you do get 3 straight nozzles with the unit, you can get a conversation board from the EU that makes the interface very good it also adds two knobs to control the temp and fan speed instantly, and you also can turn off the bleep with the new board, I may get one, but the original interface seems ok to me I will see how it goes, I am very happy with the hot air unit, thanks Dave Browne 2E0DMB
