I give it 5 stars because it is what it is supposed to be. it is a hardbody, which is a big plus, it does have metal framerails, another plus. it comes with a 6V Ni-CD 700mAh battery, the transmitter is meh, and pretty much the entire drive train is not hobby grade, so keep that in mind. However, it's a cool little truck and would be a good basis for a build which is what I'm going to do. WPL also has a good selection of metal upgrades available including axles. What I like most is the body, I also like the scale, it's larger than my SCX24s and significantly smaller than my 1/10 scales. It isn't horribly incapable, it does fairly well out of the box over some moderate obstacles. Just take into consideration it's cost and what it is. I would definitely recommend it for someone looking to build off an existing platform or kids or someone looking to get into the hobby. Pics are comparing to my SCX24 Bronco.
