Q: Can this board be powered by ac voltage or must be dc? Ex. 24 ac for 24v board?

Q: can it measure in inches? Does it convert to American standard?

MMA Yes, details are in the instructions.. can be set to US feet and inches

Martin Yes would work and is common for items that do not fit in an oven. Is important for powdercoat that based material reaches temperature in order to bind correctly. Could be used to make custom oven as well.

marcar I'm afraid you can only power it from DC. But converting AC voltage to DC is only adding a diode rectifier bridge and an electrolitic capacitor. If you want to do the best, adding a 78xx regulator will provide stabilized voltage, not just rectified one with some ripple filtering (capacitor).
