Geridone no,you don't need that in your transmitter,that function is on the gyroscope, it's the one on the top activate it by pushing it with the small screwdriver to the right

RicBorgs I would recommend not running it directly from a battery without an LC Filter to get rid of voltage spikes and make transmission cleaner.
