Cedsh I'm totally with you on this one. You are completelly right. As a tip for users and buyers; when I lack information of the product I go to the review section or watch youtube videos of the product. It helps to make a buying decision

Cedsh It does, at least the 12th version wich is the one I've got, and it works amazingly well. The range of the mic is around 12 to 15 feet in a straight line with out any obstructions or walls. Pretty much an average room. And the sound has also mute. Plus if there is movement you will get a notification to your cellphone or mobile device conected to the cam's network. It's just ammazing as nannycam.
