Jean86 I've done the antenna mod. I've got 0 SWR. I touch the antenna and it goes up to 14-16, when I let go of the antenna, it goes down to 0 immediately. If you're not experienced by soldering very small things, DON'T DO IT.

The antenna looks good, but SWR is not so low. Also I don't recommend to do the taranis mod, you can break your whole taranis, and you lose a lot of range.

Jean86 Hi, Lazy8ones. I have the same telemetry loss problem as you. I changed my stock antenna also with a 5dbi and it did the same thing. However, I have more than one receiver and the other receiver doesn't give me this problem.I personally think there's a problem with some receivers with bad mounted antennas. I even Put hot glue on the places where the antennas are attached to the receiver, but still have the problem with that receiver.I think your receiver may be faulty like mine

I have the carbon finish, which is very pretty. Visually, you can spot some defects in the painting though... Performance-wise, the transmitter is pretty disappointing. At less than 50 meters away the transmitter starts alarming about telemetry loss. I tried replacing the stock antenna with a 10dbi 2.4GHz antenna, and it was just the same. This is LAME!

I am in my second frame after flying over 1000 miles on the first one. I love the mytwindream. It flys like a dream for sure. Efficiency is excellent. I can fly for over two hours with 11x7 props and a 6s 21000mah batt.
