Q: If the power button on the light is used to turn it on and off (as opposed to just unplugging it), does it keep the brightness setting?

Seems good quality for the price and used to hook up to a powerbank when you don't need long cable sitting in your bag.

I ordered 4 of these and 1 of them has a bad connection for the USB cable so it doesn't always work. Also disappointed to find out that even if you keep the power supplied to the light, when you turn it on and off, it loses the brightness level. So if you dont want full brightness, you have to adjust every time you turn it on. It should have a memory so it turns on and off at the same brightness that is set. It is nice and bright though for a display cabinet and don't appear to get too warm so can be left on for longer periods.

This light works well so far. One issue is the remote needs to be really close. In my case I actually wanted to mount facing upwards but this means the remote does not work as the receiver is facing the wrong way and I cannot set the light colour/pattern easily. Would be better if the IR receiver was external and movable to make it more functional in different positions.
