Mouse itself is pretty simplistic, but it is exactly as advertised. Given the price point, it is a very good value. It looks clean and simple; most of the mouse has a softer rubber feel to it, with the buttons being a harder plastic. It's very comfortable in the hand. The rubberized parts are a matte black, while the buttons are glossier and have a lightly glittered finish, but it's very subtle. Aesthetically, it looks just fine. I would describe the entire mouse as fingerprint-resistant, though since your hand doesn't move much it does pick up some over time. As far as use, it's a mouse. Not much to say. It is wireless, and it has an on/off switch on the bottom, but it also puts itself to sleep if left alone long enough. I'm not sure how long it waits before putting itself to sleep, but it has never fallen asleep on me while I've been sitting at my desk, so it's long enough. Couple things to note functionality-wise: - It uses a single AA battery rather than having any sort of rechargeable one. This isn't surprising for the price point, but it's worth noting. No idea how long it lasts, but I haven't had to replace it yet. - It is extremely light, and as a result feels rather cheap. No surprise here either, as it is very inexpensive. - When the mouse idles to sleep, it only wakes up when you click (not when you move it). Not a big deal, but took some getting used to. Honestly, it's growing on me, as it doesn't wake up and wear down the battery when someone accidentally nudges it. All that said, it's perfect for what I bought it for; to replace the cheap wired mouse my office provided. =)
