So I had an older cheaper Gens ace 100w charger (ac only). It worked well, would only charge 1 battery at a time, when this went on sale and could charge 2 at a time plus supported the gens ace smart system I decided to buy it, I also wanted an ability to charge off DC. Once I figured out how to change the language to English... this thing works great! I can have 2 chargeing, 1 charging and 1 getting discharged for storage... It works very well and is very intuitive once you go through the menus once. Also if you plug in a smart gens ace battery, it will automagically start charging or just report the status if it is already charged. So far it ticks every box for whatI thought I needed in a charger.

a lesson in reading the description... this thing is tiny! While it does give great magnification when placead about 2mm away... you cannot see anythinguntil it is that close.

Finally had some time to play with this. A little shocked at how well it runs and how long the little 1S 3.7v lipo lasted. No complaints... I would have 1 request of the designers... add a freaking on/off switch. Right now the only way to turn it off is to pull the battery. Other than that, this is great fun.

Finally had time to put these on... they fit well but a little fiddley since the hw is now phillips screws instead of allen head screws.

So I did not like these at 1st, did not want to have to change out the hex screws for phillips (cross point) screws, but when I had a issue with the oem shock I decided to put oil in them and try them, I still wish they came with hex hw but they are pretty plush and so far have not leaked.

Cool little truck, clipless body, well made and the stupidest battery compartment solution ever... can only fit the batterys that came with it... can only charge said batteries with the included charger which takes 4 hours for a 2S 1050 lipo battery! I ordered some extentions for the balancing wire so I can charge it with my imars d300. Next up is to modify the battery compartment to fit my shorty 3s 2200 lipo that almost fits. I expect it to give twice the performance and much longer run times!
