Q: which way is the sensor mounted?

Torsten I had the same question...looked up the datasheet. You want to mount it with the text up, and the leads bent down. Essentially how the silkscreen shows it. Soldering of the sensor is a bit painful - the pads weren't designed well. They should be elongated.

Q: Beware - only supports IE with security settings set to "give me a virus please". This is sad.

AlistairJ People are using the IE-Tab Chrome Extension to get around this problem.

Torsten The unit I received is copper plated steel - it sticks to a magnet. So this will be a bit harsh on your soldering iron tips. Should be replaced. Listing needs to be corrected.
