Patrick You make these adjustments using the settings cog - when the camera is selected in the app. The camera is only activated by motion, not continuous recording or time interval. It isn't worthless since if there is nothing moving, what is the point of having a recording of the same scene? You may have a reason, but it is not that common.

Patrick I doubt it. it is an AC generator. the output from the controller must be an converter to DC but no specifications are provided. the seller is NOT responsive to questions and that is a bad sign.
