Excellent product which I have purchased and used on previous occasions. The unit comes well packed for shipping and in it’s own box. In the box is the charge controller and a manual which gives installation and configuration instructions in English and Chinese. A diagram of the controller gives clear instructions on how the solar panel input, battery and load output are connected via paired (plus/minus) screw terminals. The controller can be configured via the display and selection buttons. The display is large enough to be read without glasses for most however it is not illuminated so will require an external light source to be read in a dark environment. The controller supports the display of battery voltage, solar panel charge current, load discharge current, accumulated discharge power and accumulated charging power. The controller supports the configuration of battery high voltage disconnection, low voltage disconnection, low voltage re-connection and a load working mode which allows the user to turn the output load off ‘x’ hours after sunset or run the load 24 hours a day. As far as battery types the controller is quite flexible as the high voltage disconnection and low voltage disconnection and fully configurable within the bounds of your system (that is 12 volts or 24 volts). The controller ordered was 100 amp model. The manual for this controller stipulates that it can charge 60 amp to the battery and 30 amp to the load at the same time which only adds up to 90 amps but I guess there must be some leeway for internal currents. Conveniently the controller comes with two USB outputs. These are low amperage outputs. One important thing to remember is to make sure you connect the battery to the controller before solar input and load output and make sure that the battery / batteries you are connecting are reasonably charged. The reason for this is that the controller will sense the battery voltage and set itself up for a 12 volt or 24 volt system.

The high pressure washer is a good product for light cleaning of your vehicle, paths and other items around the home. It will not clean off heavy dirt so if you go four wheel driving on the weekend and have caked on mud on your car do not expect this cleaner to take the dirt off easily. It does make up for the lack of pressure by being light and convenient with the ability to be run from a garden hose, bucket or even a plastic bottle with supplied fittings. It comes with the washer gun and barrel extension a point nozzle, spray nozzle, hose and several connections as shown in the photos. The batteries supplied are ok however they do not supply much current and get bogged down after around 5-10 minutes of operation. Checking the battery voltage with a meter shows that they are still over 18v but they are down on current and so the washer does not operate fully. So with two batteries I expect around 20 minutes of 50% duty cycle operation. I purchased the unit with two batteries as I have other Makita tools and the batteries are supposed to be compatible. I can confirm that the batteries can power Makita tools but not the sort that draw much current. For instance they power my Makita torch, portable soldering iron etc but not drills, saws etc. as they require more current than the batteries can supply. On the other hand the pressure washer will accept Makita 18v batteries and if you have 5 or 6Ah ones then they will power the washer for a longer time than those supplied with the unit. The batteries supplied with the unit cannot be charged via standard Makita charger (they have their own wall charger) as they lack balance checking inputs and will not fit in the Makita charger.

SandyMan69 Iagree on these being for thermal sensors but cannot find any information in the manual or in the configuration menus regarding them.

SandyMan69 NoI wouldn't do that. These units are good for what the are but I would not rely on the ability to load balance between multiple units. For instance if one unit were to malfunction then the load would soon destroy the other two. If you really need to carry large loads then I would consider a larger solar controller by Victron as an example or perhaps find something with more current for the load on BangGood. There are also professional units that can be linked via communications cables which allow parallel loads but they are plenty expensive.
