Henk Hello Chris, I do not have exactly the same make (mine is a Changi CJ3000Q 3Kw sine wave invertor. The fans blow out air in the direction of the 12V contacts.Hope this helps

Henk No user selectable channels, but I ordered three controllers and they do not interfere wiih each others units. I noticed that the bar code stickers on the hand control and the switching units are paired and different for each controller switch unit. (They work well - I can recommend)

Henk You can add a 7812 voltage regulator to pick up power from the fan plug (24 Volt) and send the 12volt to your 12v fan. Add the regulator (well insulated) on the cooling fin and observe connections to 7812 regulator.

Henk warm iron. hold vertically nozzle down push fully down and release suction knob a few times that should do the trick
