Q: The article that I received is dfferent. It came with a short 5 conductor cable which plugs into a socket located where the USB connections are. There were ho headers or any place on the board where any could be mounted. But, the actual sensor appears to be identical to the item pictured. Is there any information, such as pinputs for the cable, available?

Very nice board. Comes with battery cable and 4 pin cable and connector. No lamp as appears in the illustrations is included however. Arduino library for the display is: https://github.com/ZinggJM/GxEPD. an example sketch GxEPD_SPI_TestExample can be used. Uncomment this line: #include // 1.54" b/w/r 200x200

Beware, the photo of the completed device does not match the photos of the individual components and what is shipped. Instructions unfortunately are in Chinese but easy enough to figure out from the step by step photos.

AllenCK The GxEPD_WiFi_Example sketch works great but I have not been able to get the GxEPD_SD_Example to work; it prints "Initializing SD card...SD failed!".Also is there any information available on how to use the speaker?

Watch look great but trying to use it is an exercise in frustration. The touch screen does not make it possible enter any data like a WiFi password with any accuracy. There is no means for using a stylus or a USB keyboard so the device is practically useless

AllenCK There is a problem however in that the temperature sensor, being in the case, is affected by the heat generated by battery charging an use. Also, the humidity displayed appears low.

AllenCK The left button, pin 0, is also usable, Only the right cannot be used.

As I have found with several similar Wemos units, the USB connection does not provide a comm port. In order to flash the unit, one must connect an external USB to serial converter. On this unit, TX is labeled D10 and RX is D9. To flash the unit, turn the unit on while holding the joystick button to the Left. The serial port wii then report (at 74880 baud): ets Jan 8 2013,rst cause:2, boot mode:(1,6) When you are in flash mode, you can save the current app: allen@laptop3:~/ssd1306$ esptool.py --port /dev/ttyUSB0 --baud 74880 read_flash 0 0x100000 ESP8266_18650_Battery_0.96.bin esptool.py v2.3.1 Connecting.... The quality of the kit is very good. The instructions are easy to follow. The only drawback is that, at least on my computer, when I plug the mini audio plug in, it disconnects the audio to my speakers. The kit could be much better if there was a way to pass the audio thru the device.

Q: Cannot identify the polarity of the diodes. Cannot identify which SMD Capacitor is which? Only have three packets of SMD Capacitors and there are four values on circuit board?

Tablet arrived in good condition. After charging the battery, I turned it on. The small manual that accompanied the device explains most of the important features. One problem though is the so-called TF slot which is apparently where an micros SD card can be installed. There is an oval opening with a round hole but nowhere is there any information on how to open the slot. Perhaps the stamped metal oval with a thin extrusion on one end is supposed to be a tool to open the slot but it is not explained either. One problem was immediately apparent: all of the pre-installed apps were in Chinese. I finally figured out that one of them was a browser and manage to download an English version of Chrome. After that, it was easy to install other application. At least the device does has a feature to translate Chinese search results to English. Other than that, the device seems to perform well and is worth the money.

After the device installed its drivers I was presented with a dialog that said that "You need to format the disk in drive FL before you can use it. When I Clicked on the button to format it, it says that there id no disk in drive F:
