This is a large upgrade from the Anet A8(which I came from). It's not necessarily more accurate or faster than the Anet, but it is more stable and larger. You dont have to worry so much about the print having weird artifacts towards the top because the frame is bouncing around. It is very stable. Also, it's a breeze to put together. And if you do it wrong the first time, it only takes a few minutes to correct your mistake.. The instructions are horrible, but there is lots of online help. It is a good printer and you wont regret buying it.. I do have some advise: The tube that goes from the feeder to the the head needs to be taped in such a way that it puts tension away from each other side. Over time, the in and out action will cause the tube to move and cause issues with your print. So pull on the tube and wrap a few round of tape at where it goes in the fittings. That way it will not have a way of working it's self loose. Buy some Ceramic Fiber Paper from a cheap seller, stack it 2 to 4 deep and strap it to the bottom of the heated bed. You'll have to get creative on this one. I was able to use aluminum doorway thresholds to hold them in place. By doing this, it will hold the temperature in the plate better and increase your warmup time. Print the oversized adustment knobs. Print bed wire support. Z-adjustment knob. Some trays under the bed are helpful also. Most of all: have fun. -Brainfarth Oh yeah.. Figure out how to mount a gauge to the head for when you have to level the bed. It is well worth your time.
