Design and measurements: The iron features a very compact design (less than 16cm with tip installed) and quite light weight (about 35gr with the tip installed). The body is made of aluminum and it has a nice feeling as well as it’s structurally solid. Power and Heating: The TS80P offers up to 30W of power when using the PD protocol and up to 18W when using QC protocol. The included power adapter allows the iron to use 30W with no issue while my powerbank can only go up to 18W but other than heating time I’ve haven’t noticed the iron would need more power in my applications. From my measurements it needed only 10s to reach 300oC by using 30W (PD) and 21s to reach the same temperature by using 18W (QC). Handling: The iron fits quite comfortably in the hand and the tip ejection mechanism makes it easy to both change tips with safety and handle it with no risk of touching the hot iron. The buttons are in a nice position to touch them with your thumb while holding it and with no need to reposition it in your hand. The included USB cable is very flexible and won’t be a hassle during soldering sessions. Other USB cables I’ve tried are stiffer and you can feel their drag in your hand. Settings: TS80P is highly customizable by entering the settings menu. It offers a 100oC – 400oC temperature range where you can set your default temperature (factory default is 300oC). It is also possible to change standby time and temperature (at what temperature and after how much time the iron will rest at). It is also possible to further customize the settings by accessing the iron’s firmware by connecting it in a PC. Overall thoughts: The TS80P is a great portable soldering iron and it combines features, customization, small size and adequate power at a great price without compromising build quality. It looks like it will handle all everyday small soldering needs with ease and has features that will satisfy even more advanced users.

Very decent keycap set for the money. I don't own the original set by GMK but this actually looks good and it's way cheaper. There are some inconsistencies on the font size on different keycaps but nothing very bothersome. You also get many extra keycaps so that's a plus. The thickness is on the thick side but I've seen thicker keycaps. If you have led lighting it won't bleed through them, cheaper keycaps will show light underneath them. Lastly, they do indeed look like they're doubleshot, many cheap sets have only doubleshot on the legends but these have it all the way.

Q: are these SMD switches?

geostog They seem to have milky bottom and clear top which means some light will pass through but won't be as bright as a proper all clear smd switch

geostog Fromwhat I read S41s is just the stainless steel version of S41, they are essentially the same light with different materials so yes it will fit

LASERman Yes these are thick PBT no shine through, the LED light will only leak a bit from underneath.

A quality product from Xiaomi, as usual. It seems durable and made from quality materials that will probably last for a long time. The fabric material repels water efficiently and it will dry in little time. I chose the grey colour and it looks really good. While closed it is compact and easy to carry, when open, it seems to be too big for me, I would prefer it to be a bit smaller. So far I have found two small negative points that I would like to know before my purchase, not deal breakers but I'd like to be aware of them. 1) When closed, it can open with little force resulting in awkward situations like carrying it and having it extend. I would prefer if there was a lock of some kind to avoid that. 2) The carrying strap is too small to comfortably put your hand through it. Small hands and women will have no issues but in comparison to my previous umbrella, they should make it a bit longer.

First of all I liked the design of it, it's not the cut glass as it covers the full screen. The curvature is well calculated and it fits quite satisfactory. From what I can understand there is some kind of adhesive around, which is blocked by the black frame. Sadly this created patterns in the screen (Newton rings) but they are only visible when the screen is off. Another issue is the adhesive, it isn't quite strong and on one corner you can hear the glass detach slightly upon pressure. These are small issues and I think they are created by the nature of the screen itself. But one issue I can't explain is the transparency of the screen. Maybe it's my eyes but I feel that the glass is slightly fogged and the colours of the screen are not passing though it entirely. Maybe the unit I received was faulty.

Good high quality case, I've had 3 Nillkin Frosted and they all feel good. Nice texture in the back and the fitting is very good. The openings are well rounded and they made easy to find the fingerprint reader on the back. It's a hard case though so I don't know how much protection it will provide in case of a fall. On the other hand it's slim and it feels quite close to the original size of the phone. My only complain is the cut sides. I understand that it was designed that way so you can have easy access to the edges and to experience the display to the maximum but it makes holding the phone a bit awkward.
