Q: can it broadcast directly in wifi or is an adapter needed?

Todd you can connect the machine to your home network. connect your computer to same network. when you select connect in vigotech software it will find the laser. now you can control laser AND use internet while it burns. follow instructions on settings page. look for the single flash blue light. I did 15 burns in a row like this last night.
