Q: Hello When I plug my Apple Display to the adapter, and then plug it to a computer (my MacBook Pro for exemple, ou my Windows laptop), it's still "off". Do I need to do anything else ? Thank you (Sorry, i'm French ... !)

sammy This is a hdmi to DisplayPort not DisplayPort to hdmi meaning the device sending the signal must be hdmi and the receiving device should be DisplayPort not the other way around like you guys are trying. I’m a regular consumer trying to decide if he should buy this adapter. I am however a sysadmin so I do have a tiny bit of experience with adapters and computers ;-) this is just a possible issue I’m describing
