Nperez39 The out put should never change regardless of input , unless you exceeded the input voltage and damaged the unit

Nperez39 Check the diode it probably blew out when hooked up wrong just check continuity

Nperez39 No need for that if you look on my profile you can see the layout on how I did it, just like the name rgb the first is red the next is blue then ground the green if you have a multimeter you can put it on diode setting and check from there in each pin

Nperez39 Run your multimeter from a color pin to ground pin individually on diode mode to get accurate minimum voltage per led

Nperez39 It claims to have an output of 40v but probably should not go there, I always use the 10% rule of staying under max voltage
