This item was not shipped inside of another box, it was delivered in it's original packaging for everyone to see, even the kid who it was for. I was very displeased at the way it was shipped. Both the secure points of the outside box were broken like someone had taken it out and played with it, however the car was still anchored down to its card board tray, which by the way was also torn, the usb adapter was not anchored down at all. All in all the car looks amazing, and it appears to be in excellent condition. Luckily the boy who it is for, did not see it, so hopefully it will work properly when he opens it for Christmas. I may ordered another one just for me as I have many RC cars, trucks, and planes already, (HPI, Tamiya, etc), it looks that good.
