Both i ordered survived the shipping :-) I like the rubber-protected small on/off switch on the front. Do not have to remove it from the wall (or where you have monted it) to turn it on or off. It has to be dark before the motion sensor turn on the lamp, the solar panel is used as a "sensor" to detect when the lamp should be activated by the motion sensor. Lamp is turned on in 15 seconds after motion is detected, then it turns completely off. I like them, but it remains to test them outdoor in real environment.
