This unit was sent (very quickly) to me after a previous one I bought presented problems. The problems remain, but I discovered that the on-board antenna produces a signal too weak to be used for a satellite fix, at least where I live. I bought an external antenna, and now everything works Ok. No problems in connecting to an Arduino, but the firmware cannot be updated.
