Even though I didn't actually pay for mine, I will say that this package is not worth the money. On face value the promise of this being a cheap entry into a home security system is correct, but there are some issues that negate that promise. The biggest issue is that other than going into the app there is no way to turn on / off the notifications from the sensors. You can't put them on a schedule, or turn them off with voice controls via Google Home. So this means that if you leave the notifications on whilst you are at home, you get one pretty every time you move. Or of course if you have them turned off, you have to remember to go into the app and turn them on when you leave the house. I'm not sure if adding an actual remote to the system would solve the issue, but I'm hoping it would. Another less important issue is that the door / window sensor only triggers on open. Once its closed again it does not alert you. This isn't a real issue but worth noting. The system was easy enough to set up, so that's a plus.
