The good: WiFi control: Works great. Out of the box it broadcasts its own access point which makes it easy to configure but lets anyone within range control your lights if they install the app. However the first time you use the app it prompts you to connect it to your own WiFi access point which I would definitely recommend. Custom colors and sequences: You can select any RGB color value as well as a number of predefined sequences. It'll even remember the last used settings and restore them when power is cycled. The bad: High-pitched whine occurs whenever any color is not at 0% or 100%. The frequency and loudness changes depending on which colors are active but this is a major annoyance. I ordered two and both had this problem, seems to be a design flaw. 976062 and 922419 are silent with the same LED strip and power supply.
