The mount clicks solidly into the base. As long as you carefully clean the base and the mounting surface with a solvent wipe (not included) and allow to dry then the included tape should affix it permanently.

They are a bit worse than the ones that were delivered with the Eken camera (no silicon piece that blocks the piece in place). But seem fine for helmets.

The product looks excellent, the buckle is very strudy and strong, i didn't check the glue yet but it is curved a little to fit to an helmet. great value for money
