I bought two and both are functional. In addition to your choice of several colors, there is a color cycle mode (the default when you turn it on) and a fixed-color blink mode. The brightness is not adjustable. It's not as bright as SKU144757, but it consumes less power (I measured .30 Watts for this, and .65 Watts for SKU144757). It's a bit thicker than other USB lights I've tried, and therefore slightly hard to insert into the USB socket.
