It is probably the best microscope in this price range I am impressed! I love the fact that it works with a li-ion cell finally a sensible design! The stand wiggles a little and the focus is not that nice to work with and I recommend you swap out the li-ion cell to a beefier 3400mAh model. Expect to have around a 150x zoom max, it is more than enough for soldering and okay for viewing bigger microorganisms like tardigrades. If you have a home lab and you do not plan on spending a fortune on a trinocular, than this might be a great choice for you especially if you are doing a lot of SMD soldering.
